Dude, what the fuck? I didn't even remember who this guy was, only recognized him after seeing a picture 'cause I checked out random bits of Peter David's Friendly Neighbor run a few weeks ago.
I mean shit I already found it bizarre enough when I heard Madame Web was getting a movie, she's not that known as a character and is only a supportive character, but this guy? He's an E-lister on a good day and was only in one dumb story.
And we're getting movies from randoms like this before the more interesting characters? Shit man, at least go for the real goofy shit like Big Wheel, or Chance in such a case.
This is kind of insane.
It probably won't happen, but I hope that Peter David and Roger Cruz get at least a million dollars out of this, regardless of the reason.
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
Is it going to be like this?
From the movie Undercover Blues.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
Have to appreciate Sony's commitment. Fans have said Marvel should give less prominent characters a chance, and now they're giving them that, the absolute madmen.
This has to be an elaborate troll. There's no fucking way
Sony is literally making movies for internet memes just to troll the world because they can afford it with all the dough they raked in with "No Way Home." They don't even have to try to make a serious attempt anymore.
They may just be doing a universe of B-movies to try to score some cult classics people can laugh at now.

This is just out there. I have no idea how they decided on this one. I could even understand something like Tarantula or Cardiac. Rocket Racer even. A superhero on a rocket powered skateboard? That sounds like an awesome idea for a movie.
Even if you're just drawing names out of a hat to decide who to make a movie out of, you'd need a pretty big hat to end up with El Muerto.
Nah, this has too much self-aware humor, should be more like a B-movie, where the movie is bad, but sincere.
Dude, even if they're going for memes, at least go for something more unique looking than some generic looking Mexican wrestler lol.
If I knew Sony was gonna do shitposting movies like this, I definitely would be among the people asking for Big Wheel lol.
Neither was El Muerto, he was some guy who wanted to beat up Spidey in a ring and unmask him, or at least that's what I remember from that dumbass story lol.
Oh well, I guess I can thank Sony for a laugh after ASM#1 at least.
So does this mean WWE will want some of their guys to cameo in this?
I like Bad Bunny he was good in the final season of Narcos, but man this is wild
.....huh?
The wiki for this character has two appearances listed, like....
