    Ajax from Hulk.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Guy in middle. Main part of the cover. Dead by issues end after one issue! Ouch!

Wow, was that Sunder on an X-team?

    Anywho.

    Sunder, a Morlock big bruiser.

D-Man, an LGBT Avenger who has spent time as a WWF wrestler, and been homeless.

Strong Guy, Guido Carossella, who absorbs kinetic energy from punches and gunshots, and if he doesn't expend it quickly enough, his body grows new muscle to 'store' it, and as a result, he's disproportionally ginormous (giant swole arms and shoulders and chest, normal human sized legs, which look tiny on him!).

Strong Guy was the first one to pop into mind for me.

Let's add some gals to the list:

Gladiatrix - former villain who became a hero during Civil War.

She-Thing - formerly Ms. Marvel, Sharon Ventura has quite a complicated history.

Diamond Lil - somewhat obscure Alpha Flight character and mutant.

If Rockslide is obscure enough, he definitely fits.

The Sentry. Sorry not sorry but every time i read him i feel like he just doesn't get a lot. Nicest way i can say it. I always feel bad for him for that reason though so i guess it works but i also get annoyed by him for that same reason. Maybe i just don't like those characters. Like Johnny Bravo, omg when i say that cartoon gives me hives and headaches because of how dumb he is, it's beyond unfunny.

I know, right?! I had the same thought about Henry "The Beast" McCoy, during his days with X-Factor back in the '80s

There was a dumb guy in the Initiative whose name escapes me but he looked disinterested the whole time and I can just remember him eating all the time . He was virtually invulnerable to physical attack, so you could throw him out front to protect whoever he’s with. Sorry I don’t have a name, but he appears in the first arc of Avengers Initiative.

This guy was maybe a member of the Marauders . Thor killed him with one punch. It was an early X Factor issue if I’m right. I want to say his name was Blockbuster.

Many here might be big, and obscure, and even strong, but I wouldn't say they are dumb.
As for my suggestion, I'd go with the gigantic Gargantua, who first appeared in New Defenders #126. Though often used as a villain, he was created to be a super-hero.

    Peace
