In the action movie world diplomats tend to be portrayed as weaklings, opportunists, spineless and ineffective and it's a take a blood thirsty 'hard man who will do the hard things' to save the day.

Find an action movie where the diplomat saves the day. I guarantee that they are few and far in between.

That's the kind of logic that's seeping into WW lore ever since DC shifted her into being Warrior Woman.

I don't think Diana as a diplomat was a good idea, but my point is that Diana doesn't attack people, she dominates them. Combat is about overpowering others for the challenge, not hurt them and maim them

Question: When did Doomsday start being drawn with horns? Is that a new 52 thing?

And that is, combat wise, Wonder Woman in a nutshell. I don't care what Snyder and his stans claim, Diana is not a blood-thirsty Warrior Woman that beheads enemies left and right and saves their heads as trophies.

She never does that in the movies. Do we have to keep bringing this up in discussions where it isn't relevant?

Alpha's take is basically their own idea for how Diana fights and is at best an oversimplification.
