    Big, and Shadow? Is this show doing the Sonic Adventure duology then, even though Sonic X already did that?

    Green Hill wasn't a part of duology so I doubt it. Big is likely a cameo.

    Maybe, maybe not. But it wouldn't be the first adaptation to tread the sane ground as a previous one.

    It's not adapting Adventure, it's just featuring game characters. Sonic didn't even know Big and Froggy until Adventure.

    The premise is Sonic traveling through the multiverse.

    Knowing Sega, this will be completely divorced from anything that came before. They are really bad at brand synergy.
    But, I'm sure the show itself will be fine.
