Apparently, Amy's voice actress had a minor role in the first Sonic movie as a waitress.

Judging from what they have shown, it looks like Sonic is still in the "Sonic Adventure 2" realm. Because Rouge is from that "Earth". ( Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, crossed dimensions
in "Sonic Adventure" / "Sonic X" via Angel Island ).
Basically Netflix ( whoever ) is pulling a "Sonic in Samurai Jack world". In fact this was already done via this animation below. "Sonic Prime" is virtually the same exact thing, but less on par with the games.
LOLROTL they gave Amy Rose one eye.
What automatically kill this is the usage of "Wanna-be-Rap/Hip-hop" ( Apple Garage Band ) music in the background. I mean the music was almost perfect asides for the lame voices.
I like the idea in this world Robotnik has an entire family rather then himself.
As I mentioned ( this is taking place in the SA2 world ) via the hint of Shadow and Rouge being presented. Next should introduce
I do not really care about the "Tornado!" as Tails using a plane was just a gimmick for "Sonic 2". Also Tails has used many variations of the same plane called the "Tornado"
Rouge is there because we are still on the "SA2" page when it comes to the Sonic Time-line. So every game, comic, book, etc is using this world.
Everybody looks amazing and in-character!
Classic Badniks are there because by this point it does not matter and they already used them in the Wii-U game.
Multiverse Hi-jinks basically has always been in the Sonic universe, even from the original Cartoons. So I mean that is not new. Only difference I see in terms of problems is that it is not animated but 3d.

Sonic Prime's Shatterverse Comes to Life in These First-Look Images
I'm liking the show so far. The names and different universes (or "shatterspaces" as they're called) are rather interesting. I kind of feel Sonic's friends and Shadow were kind of jerks.
