This is an official variant for Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man that's a part of 4 connected covers. One of these characters (the girl with the six arms) is Spinnerette, who comes from a webcomic of the same name. For anyone who doesn't know, the comic in question is a parody of superhero comics (mostly obviously good ol' spidey) that's done in good fun, and according to an interaction with the artist for this cover Marvel didn't get permission from the author of the webcomic to include her. Seriously.

The worst part is the poor guy had no idea. Marvel gave them a list of characters they were allowed to use and that list apparently included her. What a mess.

Maybe, but that's still pretty messed up. I mean, it would have been cool if they got the original webcomic maker's permission to use Spinnerette, but this? I feel pretty sad about it now, and I was so psyched before to see Spinnerette in an official Marvel comic . . . funny enough, the webcomic did have her forced to change her costume after Marvel Entertainment issued her a cease-and-desist for using Julia Carpenter's Spider-Woman costume.

That seems to be the likeliest explanation.

I don't think so because not only is she on one of the other covers, but apparently they were told to include BOTH characters.

I really don't know what's going on here. Sal from ComicPOP was right, Marvel has no editors.

Have read some bits and pieces of the web comic. Hope it gets made right with the guy.

That would appear to be the case, sadly. Or those editors just don't do their due diligence. Not sure which is worse.

To me, it just sounds like a typo that just escalated.

Over in the Spider-Ham story we meet spoilers:
Pete Spiderman, a neighbourhood watcher with the best kept lawn in forest hills, with enemies such as the Lawn Goblin and Kraven the Homeflipper
    end of spoilers

    spoilers:
Mysterio is also the villain of at least two stories, one where he's been gender-flipped and is the evil mother of Spinstress, and in the Spider-Buggy story as a car
    end of spoilers

I wish we have the synopsis.

By the look of it, it seems something has happened to Spidey. Problem is, something good or something bad?

And have you noticed that Morlun is in the image, apparently now on the spiders' side?! I suppose Shathra betrayed him or something (which is not a surprise at all), but I though Morlun would beat her on his own. (I mean, Shathra is still a totem, so Morlun should be able to devour her).

Spinstress' song, voiced and performed by Broadway Aladdin's Jasmine Arielle Jacobs

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and the princess story wasn't bad. I just preferred when Disney was its own thing and not at the top of every food chain.

Well, Disney does own Marvel... Would be weirder if DC had a Disney princess homage

I'm just surprised they got the girl from Aladdin to sing it
