I guess Slott took a page from Zeb Wells on baby/child killing and had the infant Inheritors murdered by Shathra on panel with Morlun looking horrified looking at the obscured cribs.

2 issues in and I’m really not liking this story. Not only did Slott pull some real edgelord **** with literal baby eating but the remaining team is just underwhelming. Aside from Peter, Cindy, Julia, Anya and Morlun, we’ve got Spider-Gwen as played by Felicia and Kraven, a cripple who’s powers seem more like a detriment and in this scenario feels like a liability more than an asset, a fashion designer and a Disney princess knockoff. How did we go from the awesome teams the last 2 events gave us to this? Unless they find some way to turn some of the others back to normal, this is gonna be a long contrived event.

Some might say that, but when you reach a multiverse level conflict with this as your last line of defense, it just becomes ridiculous. Even Peter is questioning this team.
