The Riddler issue will be 64 Pages - assume they will all be that length.

I'm definitely getting this one. One shots are King's strongest suits.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Guess this will actually be a series of one-shots by different creative teams, Two-Face one-shot by Mariko Tamaki and Javier Fernandez, out in September.

Anyone else thinks about Killing Joke when "one bad day" is mentioned?

There’s 8 clocks in the original tweet so we’ll likely get 8 one shots. My guess is they will be:
    Riddler
    Two-Face
    Penguin
    Mr. Freeze
    Scarecrow
    Bane
    Talia or Ra’s
    Joker

    It’s not a subtle connection.

So basically DC's hottest talents doing Batman vs. Villain one-shots.

"When The Penguin’s criminal empire is stolen by a former associate" - Isn't this basically the premise of one of John Layman's 'Tec arcs?

Seems like the intent is to give every villain a “Killing Joke”, although whether that means just a prestige one shot, a story meant to focus on their relationship with Batman, or to push each villain to the darkest possible extent I couldn’t say.

Yes, it does remind me a bit of Emperor Penguin.

    Could be all three .
Was not expecting to see Gerry Duggan back.

Makes me wonder if they'll rope in anyone else who is not a regular DC writer.
