Well, if I get any of these, I'll probably get the cover I want rather than anything else, so it's not like I'm really complaining, but I do feel that new readers are kind of ripped off. Hardcovers, I think, should offer extra value, so they should collect more than just the variants (unless it's like The Wedding or Action or Tec 1000, where the variants are almost a whole collection themselves).
