damn i was just rereading batman #25 and caught this..
how the guards let The Riddler go when he started saying their families names..
then in batman one bad day The Riddler used that tactic again and the guards starting shooting at themselves.

I really wonder if DC's decision to cynically tie these books to Killing Joke with the One Bad Day title is skewing people's opinions.
OBD Two-Face is an excellent comic.
While not as definitive as "Eye of the Beholder" or DeMatteis' incredible Two-Face one-shot, this is easily the best Two-Face story since "Half A Life" and I think it will stand the test of time.
It has great depth and, like Tamaki's 'Tec run, also has plenty to say about the Bat-Family.
I'm a big Two-Face fan and one-shots like this work so much better for the character than his appearances as a regular villain.

I liked Penguin! It was a stretch to have Batman let Penguin and Umbrella Man fight it out, but otherwise I enjoyed seeing Penguin retake his city after starting off with a gun and one bullet. Solid character study on who Oswald is, what makes him dangerous, and his role in Gotham.
