Here’s a good Defenders line up based on my favorite Marvel team.

Doctor Fate - Dr Strange
Tempest - Namor
Katanna - Valkyrie
Hawkgirl - Nighthawk
?????????? — Hulk

DC Comics had a very Hulk type character they intro’s in the 90s. I can’t remember the name. Anyone else recall?

They did DC’s version of the Defenders in a JLU episode. Dr. Fate, Solomon Grundy, Amazo, and Aquaman.

Though the JLU version of Amazo is pretty different than his comics form. So there would still need to be a Silver Surfer stand in.

Maybe Captain Atom.

Another good candidate would be The Black Racer.



Both are mortals given the power of cosmic gods and are both forced to carry out a dark mission.

Not the 90's, but the latest Damage was a Hulk-type character.
