Congratulations to WestPhillyPunisher for a marvelous entry which was a shining example of Silver Age Marvel upping the bar on DC. Well done, WPP.
And now, it's time to apologize. I had a medical emergency which caused me to take a week plus off from posting. I apologize for either taking the time off or for coming back, depending on which side of the spectrum you fall under.
As for what the captain has learned in the peak of the week, he has seen many covers he was unaware of and which impressed the heck out of him. It is unsurprising as comics have always had a strong political slant. We realize that a message is often easier to transmit when disguised as something else or given the "picture is worth 1,000 words" treatment. Just look at the dashing young guy here.
