Surprise Hippolyta series is surprising. And I guess using the Greek Gods so Diana doesn't have to deal with them .

It's nice that death isn't precluding more Hippolyta content at least. I wonder if they'll acknowledge her "relationship" with Zeus in this.

1. That’s awesome, let’s Hippolyta have a unique status quo without having the need to replace Nubia, Nubia can be queen and Hippolyta a god.

2. So is Zeus being Diana’s dad still a thing? Because if so Hera is going to be upset when Hippolyta gets up there.

Love the designs of the gods.The last time we saw the gods all of them returned to their Post-Crisis designs except Hephaestus ( I don't mind his New 52 look because he was described as disfigured or "ugly" in the myths by the other gods) and Apollo. The only design I want to see is Apollo. I hated Apollo's New 52 design. He looked like a dark statue with no emotions. I hope they changed him back to this Post-Crisis design. I find it weird that they changed Artemis back to her Post Crisis design, but not Apollo because they are twins.

I wouldn't be surprised if they thought of this also as way to build synergy as well. Like, to keep people "in the mood" and have the character on a similar spotlight while the next Historia chapter comes out.
