It's a one shot.
It's a one shot.
Chyall I'm living for this! The gradual building of the Wonder world we've been witness to for the past year or so is totally unexpected and worthy of celebration. We've had Amazons blessed by the gods and Diana has been a god a couple times, but now we have an Olympian Amazon Queen? I'm here for all the Wonder content I can get and I appreciate the mainline writers on this.
Well, this explains LOTS of things
Now I have a theory: Hyppolite asked Artemis to kill her because the three tribes needed a reason to stick together, and because now, dead, she can aspire to become the leader of the Pantheon and have them controlled by someone who isn't Hera or Zeus.
Anyway, we're literlly living in one of the most exciting moments to be a Wonderfan, or at least I think so
Wasn't in one story, Hippolyta was part of the Quintessence? This might be leading to that.
Yep en Black Adam Future State she is part of the Quintessence.
Oh wait a minute - the Future State: Black Adam backup in Future State: Suicide Squad did have her as part of the Quintessence:
Edit: Sebastianne beat me to it.
Same!
I hope it does explain some things. There was a part of me that felt (after reading Trial) it just should have been a regular arc in WW's book. And now that I see that repercussions and explanations are yet to come from the story, I feel that way even more strongly.
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”
I only support the made of clay origin.
Would be hilarious if Hippolyta ends up the Queen of the gods at the end.
HAHA!! Truth be told, the image I was thinking of was the one with Hera as part of the Quintessence, but I KNEW I had seen Hippolyta as part of it as well!
Now, when Diana became a god, she became the goddess of Truth. Wonder what role Hippolyta will fill? Is that to be her on the cover holding the scales? Is she now Justice?
