The puppet is played by another director friend of Kojima's, Fatih Akim.

I kind of wonder if he's going to dub the Miller character or Akim. Deadman has Del Toro's likeness but was dubbed over by another actor.

The Hands I'm thinking might just be artificial/mechanical, part of her outfit, not something grown out of her or anything.
