Default Wolverine #21: Glory Daze Review

Just going to do a quick review since I didn't see a thread for this issue

-Logan and Wade are fighting over the mysterious suitcase
-Flash back to Wade meeting up with Weasel and Maverick to gear up for the current mission
-They are attacked by a bunch of robo-Wolverine's
-Wade is begging to be on X-Force, Logan ain't having it
-Danger shows up and is ready to throw down
-One of the toys Wade got from Weasel was a teleporter, he teleports Logan and himself directly into an adamantium cage with Weasel and Maverick waiting
-Maverick opens the brief case and it reveals what appears to be another version of Danger, but the head is also a Cerebro helmet

Fun action issue, Kubert is the highlight of the book. I'm happy to see Danger back and hopefully she gets to interact with someone next issue. Honestly though I hope there is something more behind the reveal of what was in the suitcase because we already have a rogue Cerebro in X-Force and we really don't need a 2nd one. Logan and Deadpool's interactions are really great, I hope Wade sticks around for awhile.

Here's hoping we'll find out what's going on with Danger next issue. I'm not sure the version oh her who's been after the suitcase is the original, but perhaps a backup or one of her spare bodies that got compromised by someone somehow. It seems odd she'd bother to build robotic X-Men when usually she'd just use her hard-light constructs, or relying on an actual Blackbird for transportation instead of simply shapeshifting into a vehicle as needed.

I find Percy's Wade funny without being too annoying, which is saying something as I usually only enjoy movie Deadpool. Hopefully it will be a good shot in the arm for X-Force when he joins.

This was a fun issue with some stellar art. Percy has a great handle on both Logan and Wade, so I enjoy him writing those two a lot.

Solid issue. Wade and Logan are a great dynamic duo

It's funny that you say that because I thought Percy's Deadpool was a pretty spot on movie imitation.

Yeah agreed. It was all straight out of Ryan Reynolds' playbook.

So, basically, Danger is back to being a villain now?

No idea, all we know is that she's trying to get that suitcase. It would be understandable if she didn't trust Krakoans considering their genocidal stance towards AI, though I'd argue if her intent was to seriously harm Logan or Wade they'd have been vaporized already.
