I really wish I knew the issues where Alan hung out with Kyle Rayner, but it was around Zero Hour. If someone knows please help.
Green Lantern #55 was their first meeting
Guy Gardner: Warrior #20-21 (Emerald Fallout - Guy, Alan, Martian Manhunter, Ray, Wonder Woman, Ferrin Colos, Captain Atom & Arisia. No Kyle, but a fun read!!)
Alan was a supporting character through Judd Winick's run given the spotlight in #133 #140

For my next character I pick Captain Marvel aka Shazam! (some of his books may still call him Captain Marvel in reprintings)

The Power of Shazam by Jerry Ordway
    Legends (the dc event)
Justice League International by Keith Giffen

Showcase Presents: Blue Beetle by Len Wein
Justice League International by Keith Giffen and DeMatteis
    Super Buddies by Giffen, DeMatteis
Birds of Prey (he had a crush on Oracle you know...also I think that actually established his heart condition)

Alright guess I'll just do some new characters then. Here is Crush, daughter of lobo.

    Teen Titans by Adam Glass
Lobo and Crush by Mariko Tamaki

I am aware this is a short list and she is new but the fact I started with Khalid Nassour should have let you in on how I do things.

In keeping with that vein, here's a character I really enjoyed from Adam Glass and Bernard Chang's Teen Titans run, which ended way too soon IMO.

    DJINN

Teen Titans Vol 1: Full Throttle
Teen Titans Vol 2: Turn It Up
    Teen Titans/Deathstroke: The Terminus Agenda
Teen Titans Vol 3: Seek and Destroy
Teen Titans Vol 4: Robin No More

DC Rebirth Superman by Peter Tomasi
Supersons by Peter Tomasi (regular ongoing, adventures, and challenge)
The Man of Steel by Bendis (where he goes off into Space)

My only advice to new readers would be to pick a character you like, read all their appearances then start branching out based on other characters you like.

I just think lists should exist for easy access. They can start wherever they want but it someone wants to know more about the character they are reading or a guest star whose cameoing they can check out online and see stories that are available,

No Bendis series? That's when the age up and reaction happen, plus Clark's outing

See I kind of felt those focused more on Clark then Jon, not to mention I forgot the issue numbers for those specific moments.

If you or someone else wants to post those that’s fine, it’s not like I have exclusive control.

Alright I did the Green Lantern Corps, I’m doing the Flash family now…and yeah I know I already did Wally West.

I’m starting with Jay Garrick, who is my favorite flash. Yes a lot of versions of characters I like come from the JSA.

Flash by Mark Waid and Williamson
The Life Story of the Flash by Mark Waid
