X Men's Magical Line of Defense

The x men have been encountering a plethora of magical attacks and setbacks. Ive gathered a group of mutants who are magical in some way as a dream team of sorts to combat the magical attacks.

Illyana Rasputina "Magik"- Ex-Ruler to Limbo, badass sorceress.
Madeline Pryor "Goblin Queen"- Clone to Marvel Girl, new ruler of Limbo?
Selene Gallio "Black Queen"- External, Sorceress who predates history.
"Azalel"- Neyaphem, Satan impersonator.
Hank McCoy "Beast"- Mad scientist with a dark magical past.
Elizabeth Braddock "Captain Britain"- Protector of Otherworld.
DeMarr Davis "Doorman"- Angel of death to Oblivion and member of the GLA.
"Forge"- Inventor, Ex-tribal shaman.
Megan Braddock- Mutant/Fairy hybrid elemntalist.
Aaron Chord "Midnight's Fire"- Martial artist enhanced by the "well of all things".
Megan Gwynn "Pixie"- Half fairy daughter to Mastermind, bearer of the soul dagger.
Saint Nicholas "Santa Clause"- Age old magical being of legend.
Theresa Cassidy "Syrin"- Ex-vessel to the Morrigan.
Tommy Sheperd "Speed"- Reincarnated soul of a magically created being.
Anath-Na Mut "Sphinx"- Magician enhanced by the energies of the Ka Stone.

Billy Kaplan "Wiccan"- Reincarnated soul of a magically created being, Demiurge.
En Sabah Our "Apocalypse"- External, Ancient mutant.

David Alleyne "Prodigy"- Amateur sorcerer.
Danger- Mutated AI with protocols for warding and banishing.

Margaret Braddock- Genius daughter to Megan and Captain Avalon.
Azari T'Challa- Multiversal love child connected to the panther spirit.
Kurt Wagner "Bamf Dragon"- "Elf" turned dragon.
Dafydd Ap Andras "Damian Tryp"- Temporal anomaly with vast magical knowledge.
Reine du Rien- Witchbreed daughter of wolverine.
Vanora- Asgardian wolf/Mutant hybrid lost in the multiverse.
Mordred- Witchbreed son to King Arthur, sorcerer.
Josh Engelhard "Jersey Devil"- Explorer of Otherworld.
Llyra Morris- Proytecxtor of the Serpent Crown.
Zheng Chilean "Sister Staff"- Half sister to Shang-Chi, Sorceres.

We will most likely never see 90% of these characters but its still cool to dream.

That's a great list!

While she doesn't have any magical skills, Mercury's liquid metal form is highly resistant to magic, having allowed her to get past magical defences and take out powerful magic users before. I think she would definitely be a useful asset when it comes to defending against magical threats.

Monet and Emplate's little sisters, Nicole and Claudette, seem to have some mystical knowledge or ability, perhaps due to their vague, poorly defined relationship with Gateway, who is at times treated as mystically inclined or aware himself. Nicole banished her brother Emplate to the dimension he was confined to via drawing some kind of chalk circle that seemed to have more to do with some kind of magical training or knowledge than a mutant power.

And then they all get defeated at once because some writer introduced a never hinted at before character who is a super wizard that learned anti-mutant magic from the the 0th generation mutants who lived 3 billion years ago before they were killed by people who were jelly of their awesomeness.

And then they are defeated beause Wolverine suddently discovers that long ago he learned anti-anti-mutant magic fueled by his super blood with which he can enchant his claws with. Afterwards the magic defense force mutants are never mentioned again.
