Congrats to Lord Mikel. There were so many good covers, I am surprised the vote was that clear cut.
And thanks to Scott and ed for the votes.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Congratulations to LordMikel for a Deceptively Commentative cover. It does a wonderful job in covering both main plots as well as other existing subplots while keeping its marvelous sense of parody. Well done.

And now for the peak of the week and what the captain has learned with this contest. And this is a rare week when something has actually been noted. The captain is a BIG proponent of whipping out rule 7 and not worrying about strict adherence to themes and guidelines. This week turned out to be a runaway for a cover which truly followed the theme of "Dirty Laundry". We (generally as an overall group) prefer a challenging situation where we are tasked to find the puzzle piece which fits best. That is often us going "OMFG! That's IT!" when we see that perfect cover.

The theme was a fine one this week. Thank you for another fun seven days.

I’m glad everyone liked this week’s contest. I was out of the house at work all day, so I just PM’d LordMikel.

OMG, thank you all. I am glad you all liked that cover.

Thank you to Foxley, Ravin' Ray, Iron Maiden, Englehart Humperdink, and Ajax_X for the votes.

I made notes for myself because I have ideas for cover contests so I write them down ... and then I was having difficulty reading my notes, go figure.

But the new contest is up, this time we are going with the celebrities who are sometimes on those tabloids.
