A lot of folks don't know it, but Steeler's Wheel was trying to f*** with Bob Dylan and parody him with "Stuck In the Middle with You"...



And it ended up being, far and away, their biggest hit, so really, Dylan's the one left laughing, because the only commercial success you ever had was by aping his sound.

But I think I once read that Bob Dylan wrote "Tweeter and the Monkey Man" as a parody of a Bruce Springsteen song for the Traveling Wilburys album.
