    Well, I think the idea that "anyone can become Batman" is part of the power of Batman's symbol - the inspiration, the model, the commitment to justice and doing right. I don't think the concept has to be silly or goofy.

    I liked how Morrison handled it, even if I don't think they need to be omni-present in stories (we have enough characters as is).
