When end of Spencer's run came around there were a few delays and could tell rewrite happened. This run. Even before and after issue 1 multiple delays on whole run happened. Hmmm

The only hope Quesada works on Spider-Man and it isn't ill-intentioned, is if someone decides to commission him to do artwork as a professional, with him having no creative authority to change it, and all for something that benefits the character. I think Quesada would be fine with that, he drew a Renew Your Vows variant for Slott even with authority.

Jury's still out on whether or not Lowe will still want to take that positive swing. He seems open to ideas for and against Peter so long as it makes money.

So assuming he's not too busy spoiling everything about DC, let's say Rich catches word of whatever's going on with this, you still won't believe it until it's 'officially announced?'

Well, Mephisto may not be the Devil himself (Marvel largely avoids making characters out of Christian figures the way they did with Thor, Herakles and other ancient religions), but he's the closest thing to it in the setting. He shouldn't have much "comeuppance", he should be evil, get away with it, and sit in his throne in hell being evil and torturing souls for all eternity.

While Christian ( and Jewish) figures are not as important in Marvel as Thor, keep in mind, Damon Hellstrom aka Son Of Satan. Not to mention Gwen and Uncle Ben went to Heaven so that is not exactly accurate. I would also note Ben Grimm had a Bar Mitzvah and according to Jack Kirby was based on the Jewish Golem.
