I don't see Marvel Studios doing that though. We saw Jean become Phoenix at the end of X2 and we saw become Phoenix at the end of Dark Phoenix. Kevin Feige said that they want to do things with X-Men that haven't been done before. So I don't see him wanting to do another Phoenix origin story with Jean.

Marvel made an adaptation of the Infinity Gauntlet without Adam Warlock. They made Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne retired heroes, giving the title of Ant-Man and Wasp to Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne. So I can see them making Hope the new Phoenix. After all, her story in the comics was about her becoming the new Phoenix.

There are literally 3 separate Spider-Men running around, all with distinct histories and personalities and their own timelines. I feel like it's readers projection that Marvel won't do the Phoenix Saga correctly, at this point.

And the 616 MCU Spider-Man doesn't have an Uncle Ben, instead he was replaced with Aunt May. If they didn't do Spider-Man's origin correctly there is no hope for the Phoenix Saga. Because that would just be a rehash of X-Men: First Class and Dark Phoenix.
