    Congrats K7P5V,
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Congratulations to K7P5V for their marvelous cover combining a current hot hip host and a team which is mere decades away from becoming a huge movie franchise.

And for the peak of the week, we present the Top Ten Thing captcleghorn has learned from this weeks contest...

10 Celebrities as guests in series allow us and our heroes to share a common reference point
9 Covers should be pretty; merely following themes isn't enough
8 Sorry, top ten lists here are jokes and serious discourse is discouraged
7 Timely unofficially cashing in on a big movie is new to me, but unsurprising
6 Not even the Avengers could stop Paul Shaffer from stealing office supplies and getting him and Dave fired from NBC
5 Why have I heard no "greatest climax ever seen in comics" jokes about Kirby's Don Rickles cover?
4 This top ten list sounded like a good idea until I actually started creating it
3 The infamous Rifleman cover worked well being mentioned only
2 I can see why Dave occasionally skipped one of these top tens
1 If only the Frogmen had higher Q ratings
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

Congratulations to K7P5V.....see ya at the Doctor Doom appreciation thread buddy!

I'm a bit disappointed that my Doom/Stan Lee cover didn't get a vote but there's always next week for me to work in a way to commemorate 60 years of Doctor Doom!

In our defense, it was difficult to ascertain which of the characters was the most celebrated.

Stan Lee of course! There would be no Doom without Stan and Jack!
