This was an underground comic I liked a lot. It was by Jerry Lane and done for his Masters Thesis. Beyond the celebrity cover, it had a wonderful surrealist story about a frogman who swam through the air, and it was a little racy.
Rita Hayworth for you younglings.
It also had a story about a celebrity we all know and loved being cloned.

NOTE: I remember Charlton had a Partridge Family comic book (even though I never bought one), but I didn't remember them also having a David Cassidy comic book (which lasted for 14 issues!).

I have that problem too. A work-around is to hit the "Reply With Quote". The "quote" box that it brings up will show the URL for the invisible image. You can copy that URL into another browser window to see the image.
Well, it works about as well as any other kludge.
