Not to say Spencer's run was perfect but we had a few, fun, one-and-done arcs before we got to Hunted, so it felt like things were more balanced.

FFS! I'm getting bored of Spidey getting battered!

Is he a super hero or a punchbag, where's the proportional strength, speed etc of the spider..

This is like Tombstone is the Hulk and Spidey is say Daredevil, except I'd bet DD would have put up a fight..

Ridiculous....

No comfort in if Spidey eventually comes good, this shouldn't have happened first, he should have wiped the floor with Tombstone!

He thinks this is Wells's attempt to make fetch - I mean, Tombstone happen by establshing him as brutal. Regarding MJ, "we don't see Mary Jane " but "we see a bit more of [Paul] and it seems he's not that bad a guy which makes it hard to root against him - he seems pretty good." Overall, "this feels like we're trying to get to 900 - this is a smaller scale story introducing the new status quo." Wells gives Tombstone a backstory, including how he got his teeth.
