Post The Worst Things Mutants have ever done?

Which moment do you think mutants have done the most horrible, unforgivable, terrible things?

A moment that even reader would hate it so much.

The Phoenix Five and the X-mutants bowing to them like they were gods was gross.

Purposefully targeting humans when they expanded during the morrison run and stealing homes from humans during the same run and telling them they would feel more comfortable in human communities.

Asking for money in exchange for life-improving drugs. Marxist heroine Jean Grey should never have allowed that.

Better than trying to get humans addicted to drugs MGH, that gave them powers and not really doing much about it.

Define what you mean by mutants.

Selene tried devouring the souls of the entire world to fuel their apotheosis, mutants first; many of the mutant villains have done similarly unforgivable things of the scope of which real world people could not possibly hope to parallel do to practical constraints... often against other mutants.

It's why they're villains, it would be unfair to assign collective guilt in these scenarios... and it is one of the many reasons why the current status quo is so ill conceived and stupid.
    Context is king.

X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!

“Mutants”, as a whole, starts with Hickman’s era: all mutants agreed to live under the same rule… Before, there were individuals or factions…

    Individually, I would said Apocalypse…
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
