But no, seriously Beast is lucky that he has lucked into being the Henry Kissinger of the X-men, otherwise someone may have tried holding him accountable already.

Then again he’s not very competent.

Then again these are the geniuses who made Apocalypse a diplomatic envoy

I would love for Bobby to share some thoughts about Hank since they used to be pretty close back in the day.

Hot take: forgiving themselves for all the crimes they've committed. Esp since they also don't punish those who commit further crimes like Selene.

Apocalypse...well Age of Apocalypse didn't technically happen in 616, and he did't succeed in killing 90%of life on earth that one time in modern era...I think the biggest death toll would be Bronze Age Collapse then? So yeah Bishop's is higher.

Has anyone brought up Vulcan's time as an emperor?
Are they "held responsible" though? I mean really outside of the occasional comment talking about mistreatment from humans, who is being held responsible? Human governments haven't forked over reparations or provided any aid to mutants as a sub-population even in their most dire mutants. The average human goes about their lives not being impacted by mutants. The majority of mutants we follow also don't seem to be holding onto resentment or trying to hold the human population as a whole "responsible" because they still spend their time saving human lives.

It really is a case where you can't generalize either population based on the actions of individuals.

I was speaking more of fanbase since that’s mostly what’s being discussed here as the viewpoints.

Yeah half the council is supervillains and arguably the balance between good and evil characters is in their favor

Current Council: Shaw, Colossus, Destiny, Exodus, Hope, Nightcrawler, Professor X, Kitty Pryde, Mister Sinister, Mystique, Storm, White Queen.
Those who are usually villains: Shaw, Destiny, Exodus, Mister Sinister, Mystique, Apocalypse (retired), Magneto (retired.)
Those who are currently villainous: Colossus (possessed), Mister Sinister. Shaw turned on Kitty and Emma for a power play, but he seems to have gotten over that.
Council members who crap on humans: Mystique, Magneto (retired), maybe Shaw and Exodus, idk they're ugly.

Honestly aside from snide remarks, they don't actively hate humans. A lot of it comes from their old racist grandpa, and they put him in a retirement home on Mars.

I miss Poccy. But if they can't get him back, they need Hellion. He won't kill the flatscans, but he won't put up with their attitude. We also know he's an amazing and effective leader.

We want the guy who once tried to kill 90% of all life back to add balance? The guy who went behind everyone else’s back and almost started a war with a demon army? The Child Groomer?

No seriously why does no one bring up the entire thing with Autumn Rolfson any more?

    Apocalypse:
Attempted to cause a famine. Bronze Age Collapse. Repeated destruction of nations.

    Archangel:
Destruction of a city. Attempted planetary genocide.

Magneto (ho-boy): Conquest of Santo Marco, Attempted to nuke Santo Marco, Attempted to nuke New York, torture of political prisoners, attempted blackmail of the UN, gaslighting quicksilver and shooting the Scarlet witch, conquest of the Savage land tribes, fomenting war between Atlantis and America, armed occupation of New York, attempt to kill 92% of earth's population, attacking Latveria, nuclear blackmail, destruction of Russian sub and city, holding the UN hostage, global emp causing the deaths of thousands worldwide, conquest of Genosha without consent of the people.

Xorn: Take over of New York and attempting to lure New Yorkers into crematoriums.

    Exodus: Attempted ethnic cleaning/genocide.

Mystique: Murder of Carol's boyfriend while pretending to be her. (Just because of how petty it was) She's done worse but it was just so petty and spiteful
