We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for JULY 2022!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

As the world is gripped by Fear Itself, with nations being divvied up amongst the invading Horror Gods, it’s defenders continue to fall before Chthon’s onslaught. Our only hope may lie… with Balder the Brave!
Chthon’s greatest weakness has always been hubris. He recorded all of his spells in the accursed Darkhold. All of them, including the one that could reseal the borders of K’Lay and return the Realms of the Horror Gods back to their eternal prison in the Dark World Tree. That means, to prevail… Balder must obtain the Darkhold. The skull of Malekith tells him that the damnable grimoire is currently in the possession of an ancient lich, Thulsa Doom, and protected by the Darkholders cult (plus who knows how many newly arrived vampires, werewolves, Frankensteins, lagoon creatures, and invisible men) in the ever-dark, subterranean kingdom of Abysmia. To steal and use it, Balder will need mystically inclined help…
Sorcerers are absolutely required. When Earth is invaded by nightmares, who better than the Son of Satan, Damian Hellstrom, and the succubus queen, Shiklah, to answer the call?
Muscle is also a necessity. That will come in the form of the magically empowered unstoppable Juggernaut!
But to truly defeat the Horror Gods, Balder will need to use their own against them. The werewolves already mobilized, bringing Werewolf by Night and his Uncanny Wolfmen into the fold. Blade and Morbius, too, did not wait to take the fight to the vampires. With them in tow, Balder also drafts the one-man amphibious assault team, Manphibian, and his most unpredictable recruit - a Frankensteined composite of severed Deadpool parts known as… ahem… Evil Deadpool!
Can Balder lead this unlikely assemblage - these Brave Midnight Sons - to victory? Or is the mission cursed?

Far to the East, there is a land where science changed the landscape. Where Oz was shaped and changed by magic, those areas had three species of ape gain intelligence and take control over man. It is there that the monkeys fly and where they ask for help in wrecking vengeance over Oz. The Ape Cities arose when dogs and cats were wiped out and man became mute as Apes took control. A talking girl and her dog certainly attract attention.
The Scarecrow and his newfound intelligence negotiate with the scientific orangutangs.
The Tin Man and his heart seek to gain the trust of the Chimpanzees.
But the greatest challenge may be a Talking Lion with his newfound courage trying to control an army of warlike gorillas.

Thanos is on his farm when an alert goes off. He teleports to his secret base and encounters a Zombie Mar-Vell. Their fight is brief as Thanos almost destroys Mar-Vell but the Zombie escapes.
The Mad Titan discovered that the Soul Gem in his keeping has been stolen. And from his monitor, Thanos can see there is a Dark World Tree growing in the heart of the universe.
Nova tries to control his new form as the Anti-Nova when the Nova Corps is called into action. The Dark World Tree has unleashed armies of nightmare into the universe.
Thanos travels in his Space Chair to enlist the help of Gamora, Silver Surfer and Nebula, who are all under attack from a bunch of alien vampires from a vampire planet. Thanos destroyed all vampires with one blast.
The Mad Titan believes one of the Lords of Negative Zone is responsible for this theft.
Meanwhile, in the Negative Zone, an army of the dead from Negation gathers around a planet. A zombie Mar-Vell flies through the army and brings the Soul Gem before his master-Syphonn.

But to get to him, they’ll need to establish themselves as worthy. The Ripclaw Pack has been at the forefront of Earth’s invasion. They’ve terrorized Mexico and essentially annexed the country as their hunting grounds: La Tierra de los Lobos! If our heroes can take down Alpha Ripclaw, then they can gain Alpha Prime’s attention. But that’s a task that is easier said than done as every Alpha is the werewolf equivalent of a Norse god and they first have to fight through a werewolf-infested Tijuana to reach their target! ¡Ay, chihuahua!
And who among the Uncanny is Alpha anyway? They all seem to think it’s them!
