This might be super obscure, but I first learned about the character in X-men Legends 2, during his dialogue with Jean Grey and oddly enough Iceman.

People are really overthinking the Grizzly thing, it was just a bear joke y'all. Northstar should be taller than Bobby, I think. It's a kind of cute panel I guess, though I continue to have no interest in this book. I really do not care for Espin's art.

Rogue and the pride voyage, I love it so much.

Rogue already has issues being alone and unable to touch others, now she's the hag for everyone on the Love Boat. At least she won't have to worry about someone touching her and dying.

Is it a joke, or a metaphor for how in the 90s there were so few gay characters. So this is a course correction to fix that. Representation is not a joke.
