Ms. Marvel seems to be doing well in Japan (it's currently the number 1 Disney+ title over there) and found a number of nice fanart from Japanese fans of the show.

No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN

Ms. Marvel is very magical girl/shojo-esque in some ways, so I could see that appealing to Japanese fans.

Yeah, Future Avengers did a pretty accurate version of her comics origin.

And it's true, I bet Kamala does remind Japanese fans of things like Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure. Especially with the TV version's new powers.

The first one is clearly comics fanart (still good though). The second one honestly you couldn't tell it's Kamala if it wasn't labelled "Ms. Marvel #3" - the label is actually wrong because the artist apparently didn't know about two of the previous Ms. Marvels (Carol Danvers and Sharon Ventura aren't her only predecessors, there were two Dark Avengers versions, so Kamala is Ms. Marvel #5). The third one is definitely TV show fanart. The fourth one is odd. It shows her in trainers and using the hard light powers, so it seems to be inspired by the show... except that she has her comics hairstyle with bangs. Maybe it's meant to be how the comic version would look if they synergised her to match the show?

Kamala's been added to the Marvel Studios logo for Thor Love and Thunder. However, it's a minor spoiler, since the footage seems to be from next week's finale!

That's actually interesting positioning, as Moon Knight, in the version used on Ms. Marvel's episodes, appears in the M right at the end of the sequence - Kamala getting the R earlier in the sequence makes her more prominent.

This Quantum Cruise movie is already showing her off in her full costume:

CBR has compared Aisha to Uncle Ben, saying that she basically taught Kamala the whole With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility thing.

I felt it was really weird to have Kamala actually there.

Feel like they're leaning maybe a little too hard into making a mythos with this series.

I've been enjoying the series, but I don't see it as something memorable that will affect her as a character. They obviously wanted to give her an origin story, and wanted to take this opportunity to make it count a lot, but using the ClanDestine was underwhelming and then it just ended. Maybe Kamran is going to give her the boost she needs like the Kingpin in the Daredevil series.

She still needs to find the other gauntlet though.

I think that happens in The Marvels rather than in the season finale.

Interesting, though I did like her imam saying, "Good is not a thing you are. It is a thing you do." Right from the comics, and a good philosophy to live by.

The Clan Destine are officially my least favorite Ms. Marvel villains.

If they wanted to focus on Damage Control, throw in Lockdown and Discord (Josh was basically turned into a cameo).

The sad thing is the Clan Destine aren't even villains. They took some really fun quirky Marvel heroes and bastardized them for a terrible streaming series. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Clan_Destine_(Earth-616)

Folks this is what the Clan Destine really looks like Clan_Destine_%28Earth-616%29_from_ClanDestine_Classic_Vol_1_1_001.jpg

That picture I posted is way more interesting than anything this series has done or Ms Marvel's comic has done.

To see his work done dirty in service to such a mediocre project.
