I created a thread for Joker (2019) and now for this. Todd Phillips has uploaded a picture of the script's cover with Joaquin Phoenix reading it. It's been rumoured and now confirmation.

I'm certainly interested in where a sequel could go but I wonder what else there is to say. And do they bring in Batman or continue to be something of a prequel?

Despite me being prepared to hate the first film, it ended up working great (not as a Batman or Joker or comic book film, but just as a film, as a Taxi Driver or King of Comedy homage film really).
So I guess I'm probably going to give this sequel a shot, especially because Phoenix and Phillips seem to be returning.Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Twitter surprised me in the moment that I learned it...
After certain comments about PATTINSON MOVIE I though that we would not see Phoenix as Joker anymore.
