The name of the movie that I am looking for, and apologies for being vague, is a movie where the alien (or monster) removed your entire memory, you would even forget how to breathe. Unfortunately that is all I remember. I think it may have been a Rutger Hauer film. I checked the synopsis of Split Second and I don't think it that movie either. I also think it was a late a mid 90s film.

Maybe we can use this thread as an ongoing for people that are looking for the names of movies that they do not remember?

Nope. I was a kid when it came out but my vague memory remembers him. But no, I'm not sure.
I just remember that the guy was a cop and there was a female that may have been from the future or alien that was trying to kill the monster/alien.
