I wonder if Marvel has anything in mind for Alex past the Gala, as of yet I think sadly the only reason that he'll show up there is for something to do with Maddy and then be sent back to limbo again...if Marvel does do something with Alex hopefully they fully get rid of the whole inverted mess business...

Popular opinion is that he's part of the Year 2 X-Men cast.

So then he gets stuck just following Scott's orders every day, as sadly I doubt that they'll have Alex lead the team, and even if they do I'm not hopeful that he'd be written well, Marvel seems to just want to use him for their own plans right now...no matter how badly it hurts him as a character...

However Dark Web ends I can see Alex rescuing or helping Maddy at the end of it. I don't see him as a part of whatever it is but when all seems lost for Maddy's whatever I can see Alex riding to the rescue I also hope both he and Maddy are both written saner, for Alex uninverted and for Maddy starting to move on from her hurt feelings Scott/Jean wise.
