I am glad they used his original costume. It looks great.

But, why does Alex have mental powers of 1?

I think Havok would be made more interesting if his cosmic energy made him durable, super strong, and able to fly. Most high end energy wielders have a lot more diverse use of their powers than he does.

I remember in the original series, they made it clear that characters that absorbed and rechanneled energy were in the "energy projection" category and those that conjured out of nowhere were using their mental powers.

Such a shame not use the redesign.

It was obviously a mistake from the original trading card series and it's CRAZY that editorial is so lazy that they didn't fix this and other mistakes like Rogue's intelligence. Also making Sunfire only a 4 on energy projection?? Clowns lol.

I really enjoyed the way Havok was depicted in X-Men & Moon Girl today -- while these things may not have been on the writer's mind, there's a history of Wolverine and Havok teaming up and having camaraderie, and there's a history of Alex having a child, who he and Wasp raised for a handful of years on Earth-X or whatever it was in the first Uncanny Avengers run. So that he'd be able to make a connection with Moon Girl, tease Wolverine but work well with him, and be a kind presence for a younger child while also making plans and destroying things..... was really pleasurable to read, for me anyway.
