I've gotten spoiled seeing Rogue drawn by Larraz and looking gorgeous, and on a weekly basis to boot!

Yeah that's her, just saying that for a time they did have a bit of a romance that could qualify as being "dark" given the reasons behind why they got married and all...

Yes, I'm glad Rogue is getting to be in yet ANOTHER mini-series (forth one since January, right?), but I still a bit frustrated that we still don't know where Rogue will end up permanently after No Surrender.

Though she's not the only one, most of the Astonishing cast are still in the same boat as Rogue, Gambit's in Red but Warren and Betsy don't have a home either after Astonishing ends...

The first time Rogue and Wolverine worked together, Viper almost killed Rogue.

At least from U/A and No Surrender, we know that Zub knows how to write Rogue right.

Given how well astonishing is running I think it will be back in some form. It is aelling better than gold and blue.

Maybe Rogue will be back in a newly formatted astonishing with Prof X moving into a Cap style support role. Rogue taking field leadership with psylock as second in command. Wishful thinking I know

only because astonishing had many covers this month while other books had "marvel legacy(or lenticular if You prefer)" special cover few months ago (october)...

    41 37 Astonishing X-Men 6 $3.99 12/06/17 Marvel 35,437

    asonishing x-men 6 beat x-men blue 17... by 1 000 copies... not good

we can also compare gold and blue with legacy cover
    http://www.comichron.com/monthlycomi...7/2017-10.html
    11 9 X-Men Gold 13 $3.99 Marvel 81,970
    15 16 X-Men Blue 13 $3.99 Marvel 71,089

I'm still hoping Rogue will be in one of the Avenger successor books.

Bachalo draws one of my favorite Rogues! I am looking forward to seeing her again. Not to keen on the story though.

Fair dice this month is definitely anomalous. Really hard to tell what impact the other events had on the sales esp with large number issues in play with several weekly publications and the start of a new arc. This is also spun as a mini of 12 issues which negates some sale. Be interested t see how it would have travelled if it was sold as ongoing. Still it has decent numbers, high enough to go ongoing if they can stem the decline. It is also worth seeing how the new arc plays out after the fall in casual numbers but beibg a nini doesnt help its cause many may just trade wait it.

UA was travelling in 20's for a while now and is viable.at about 9 UA was travelling in the 40,000 mark (i used 9 as a comparison as it was at the tail of an event sp after that spike) so on that trajectory it is a viable set of numbers and can be more so if ibtegrsted into an xverse that Marvel is trying to invigorate. I think it could be a fun book an maybe with such a connection to the Avengers could be a bridge between the communities in a way UA didnt quite reach.

Also there is some potential in the cast with some minor changes maybe pull accross QS and Emily drop mystique and fanto xavier goes to mentor support. Could be a solid effort building from existibg status quo Rougue would be a solid leadership position and several have worked under her already. But you still get to build in the developement of a team trying to gel. I also miss Pietro and Gambit messing with each other.

Any ideas on how you would like to fill out such a team, if you were to make a concept?. Also i would probably want a change in the creative team. Maybe a team up of 2 writers.

Yes i know this is just fun dreaming.
