Very worried about this series with this artist. He’s got a fun and energetic style, but it’s not very “commercial” and I think will miss the book’s core audience. On the plus side, that means a retooling sooner rather than later, hopefully with a new artist and OG Cable back in the mix.

The more I look at this art the more I feel I will never accept this for X-Force. It is such an eye sore. I mean what in the world is going on with Warpath. He looks absolutely ridiculous.

Agreed. The artist obviously put some time and thought into the costume redesigns and I like how he expresses movement in his art, but the facial expressions and body shapes are not in a style that works for X-Force. I feel bad for the artist because it's like Marvel is setting him up for failure with this.

The art is badass but...am I the only one who don't think it's not quite the right tone for a story where Cable gets buried by what's left of his family? I don't know, it looks like something that could be used in the Marvel Zombie stories and this is supposed to be an emotional moment for Jean and Hope.

Actually that variant cover doesn't even work, we've already seen what's underneath Cable's skin, it's not bones but mostly metal, he's practically a Terminator...mostly metal and machine parts on the inside...way back when he fought Magneto to get the Professor out and keep the original X-Force bunch from following Magneto...

He didn't have the virus in Cable and X-Force and had a normal body - just an arm that didn't work right. So I'm guessing the skeleton is intact? The powers and 'biology' of the character have not been consistent over the years so I can give them a pass for that cover.

So is Teen Cable here to stay? I'm already tired of this latest crazy event.

He's in the X-Force relaunch...so yes. Technically it's possible to have two versions of him running around because of time travel, but I think they really want to give Teen Cable a big push and it looks like they want to focus on him for a while.
