During this era the DCU was massive. There were so many spacefaring entities and drama and conflict. And what a wide of books on the stand!

does DC vs Marvel count? Would love a rematch with Harley Quinn vs Moonstone, Deadpool/lobo, Naomi/riri (others?)

bare in mind that when hal was in space for this crossover , mongul was carpet bombing coast city with millions dead at the same time. You get the rationale why hal went off the deep end in emerald twilight.

It was a really well written story and the crossover issues were all pretty damn good too.
The Parallax one-shot is still one of my favourites.
to be honest , parallax was so powerful he can walk between time and could have easily shun the sun-eater into the far future but for the sake of the story that needed to be told , parallax sacrificed himself needlessly.

coie will always be the best.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the sinestro corps war ? the return of the anti-monitor after so long (abeit less effective version).

I forgot about the inter company events. If those count then hmmm. The DCvsMarvel and JLA/Avengers might be tops on hype alone

poor hal , he came back to earth , beat mongul , took over from batman and became the leader of justice league europe and continuity was loose in that title , one issue he was fine , next issue his arm is in a sling and then he took off for emerald twilight never to be seen in jle title again.

    Default Nexus of Realities

Next month on the Superman forum, on the "...All-Planets" thread, I plan to cover that inter-company tabloid comic crossover--which might be the first official one of its kind if you don't count THE WIZARD OF OZ--but this month I wanted to set things up by covering unofficial inter-company crossovers (at least those involving Superman). Thus the mini-comic CAPTAIN ACTION & ACTION BOY CL2065 (1967) and all the classic Rutland crossovers (those involving the original organizer of the event).

Since the last of those Rutland stories was in THUNDERBUNNY 5 (February 1986), which was out around the time when CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS was coming to an end, I wonder if the Crisis closed the Nexus of Realites which allowed these inter-company events to happen.
