    Default Aquaman Post-Crisis

Couldn't find a 2022 thread about Arthur Curry, just a 2021 locked one, or I would've asked it there.

Which series/issue was Aquaman's "reintroduction" in Post-Crisis in? By that I mean Wonder Woman and Flash got a new #1, Batman had Year One, Superman had Man of Steel, Shazam was "A New Beginning" out of Legends, etc etc even if they weren't stagnant after Crisis #12 as the universe rest itself. Hawkman appeared concurrently to the end of Crisis but his big reintroduction was in Hawkworld. So which was the 'big' new series for Arthur? There was the 1985 mini with his new costume, but that maybe seems set in the prior canon. He had a 1988 special with no big fanfare. Then there was a Curt Swan illustrated 'Legend of Aquaman' mini-series in 1989 that gave him a new origin, which seems to be it. He had another short series in 1991, then Time & Tide mini, then finally the Peter David ongoing. Which was his big, obvious new post-crisis starting point? I'm sure you get what I mean, although Hal Jordan appeared in GL Corps after 1985, you can easily point to Emerald Dawn as the equivalent for him; same with Green Arrow in the Longbow Hunters. Aquaman is the only one it's a bit vague on.

I think Time and Tide by PAD which leads into his ongoing is what you're looking for.

It might be The Atlantis Chronicles which rebooted the entire history of Atlantis and set the stage for PAD's other Aquaman work. It was a 7 issue mini series.

Aquaman wasn't really changed as a result of Crisis on Infinite Earths as were Superman and Wonder Woman. He also wasn't getting a major writer taking over like Mike Grell on Green Arrow. And the "A New Beginning" for the original Captain Marvel (written by Roy Thomas) was really better off forgotten.
