Note for the cover: Gambit is shown a Tarot card featuring Rachel and Betsy, with the number VI underneath. In the Major Arcana, VI is the number for The Lovers. The most consistent interpretations for it: trials overcome, love, harmony, all that jazz. When it's reversed, it represents disharmony, separation, troubles and even failure.

I agree Rachel comes off really whining here for Betsy, which doesn't feel right for her. Care and concern, absolutely. But Rachel never was this way with others. Doesn't mean she can't be, but this feels out of character.

Yes to making her LGBT canon.

And I REALLY want to know how the Otherworld people know about her name Askani. Like, how is this tied to her future self that she absorbed?

If I had to guess, the cover means nothing and they'll probably get together. Or it could be right-side up for Gambit, hinting at his own love life. Love conquers all, and maybe Rogue manages to save his true self somehow. But I hope that it hints at discord between Betsy and Rachel, just to flesh out the relationship more.

Rachel is so OOC. And people loving this we’re hating X Men Gold? I happen to think on twitter some people are just liking it because it’s portraying Rachel like they always headcanoned her. But it is not my Rachel.
