I was annoyed when they tried to redeem her. Too many villainesses have to go down a redemption path versus paths that increase their villainy. Green Lantern, like Flash and Aquaman and Superman, have so few women foes that maintain themselves over time.

Given her backstory, a redemption arc made sense. But I don't think they went about it the best way.

Always liked Angle Man, since the old Secret Society of Super-Villains days, but Shimmer and Phobia also always intrigued me, for one-shot Titans foes from the classic Wolfman/Perez era. (More so than boring Plasmus or awkward Houngan).

Shimmer's relaunch over the years, replacing her ginger 'fro with a shaved and tatted head, was quite the change!
