Oh sweet. A Quentin Quire focused issue. *eye roll*
“Not as good as I once was… but I’m as good, once, as I ever was.”
Huh, interesting. Marvel's website shows this and X-Men Red #4, both originally scheduled for this coming Wednesday, delayed until 7/13. I wonder if that is inaccurate now, or if this preview was released inadvertently.
Meh. It is what it is at this point. Just a boring ass book. Wasted concept and potential. And I personally don’t think there’s really anything interesting left to say about Quire, but maybe that’s just me.

Such a boring book. Josh Cassara is the only perk nowadays.
I think this is the last issue the character is in this book, so it'd make sense for him to be the focus.
I'm all for the "Mutant Clothes Only" reasoning behind moving Kid Omega beyond his murderous prep school boy look, but this costume is dead boring... Hoping that he gets a gala look that spins him off in a new visual direction ala Jean Grey last year.

YES Capes. YES Masks. YES Secret Identities.
I mean, I don't care for Percy's take on Quentin, but tbh the bigger issue keeping me from giving a shit about Quentin is that I can't think of a single time two consecutive Quentin writers HAVEN'T had a wildly different take on him. That kid switches characterizations more often than Synch switches powers.
The only way to make him interesting is to fundamentally change who he is. So, yeah, I suppose they could try that. But at his core he’s a punk ass kid with no depth. F@&$ ‘im.
