    Default Celebrity references/parodies in comics?

The new Punisher war journal has a racist leader that looks like the one George from Seinfeld was mistaken for.

She Hulk had a pee wee parody called big wig.

Batman Gotham adventures had the Seinfeld crew, Jay and silent Bob as crooks..

    Who else?

Do we want to narrow this down a bit? Cuz over the last 60 plus years you could include everything from Ronald Reagan making a cameo in X-Men comics in the 80's to official DC Comics Jerry Lewis ongoing titles and I think Archie did New Kids on the Block...

The Cerebus series alone has a good amount of celebrity parodies.

I always get a kick whenever Marvel creators show up in Marvel comics.

My father was always talking about Henry Kissinger, so that'll be my choice for this thread (XD)

Some would call that a Super-Villain Team Up K7P5V! I think Kissinger has been knocked off his pedestal over the years. Doom has "met" Stan Lee a couple of times in the comics

and Stan with Jack Kirby in FF #10

Celebrity appearances on comic book covers was in fact the subject of the weekly "cover contest" on these very message boards, at the start of June. You can see the entries here. Of course, those entries only scratched the surface of ones that could have been chosen, and since the contest was by definition restricted to covers, it doesn't include the very many other celebrity appearances that were shown only in the interior art and not on the cover.

Jack Kirby created "Funky Flashman" at DC in Mister Miracle back in the 1970s.
He's been thought to be a parody of Stan Lee.

It's not "thought" to be Major, it was a straight, unabashed parody. Including his lackey HouseRoy.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Speaking of parodies, how about the time Janet Van Dyne (A.K.A. The Wasp) met Arnold Schwarzburger

Decades before FoxNews even existed, Marvel featured Rupert Dockery, based on Rupert Murdoch, in series including Spider-Woman as a ruthless media mogul who may be more dangerous than the usual super villains.
