    Default Public Domain Superheroes

Were there any Superheroes that hit public domain, I'm talking about obscure superheroes not from Marvel & DC comics.

A great many from the Golden Age are public domain now. Every so often someone will do a series or a special with one of them.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think many of the characters at Dynamite (Green Lama, Black Terror, 40's Daredevil) were in the public domain for a while.

    Have you tried the google?

There is an entire wiki online devoted to nothing but public domain superheroes:

I found it by googling "public domain superheroes". It's the first hit.

Yeah, pretty sure they're not paying for those licenses.

    I co-host a podcast about comics. Mostly it's X-Men comics of the 90's.

Calico Kid is a fascinating one because he sometimes goes by the alias "Ghost Rider".

One of the more prominent heroes of his day was Blue Bolt (aka football player Fred Parrish) from Novelty Press, created by Joe Simon:
