    Another cool type of public domain hero that comes to mind are the ones involving aliens going to another planet, and how much could potentially be done to interestingly expand upon that, with heroes like:

    I think a lot of these characters could really be fun to put into the Marvel and DC universes.
    Van Helsing working together with Blade would be great.
