But how are they equalized? Are we talking a tyrannosaurus-sized Hercules beetle, or a Hercules beetle-sized tyrannosaurus?
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

Clearly any member of the dung beetle family can lift more, if you are scaling lifting strength to size while ignoring structural limitations like the tensile strength of chitin. Dung beetles can lift hundreds to over a thousand times their body weight, which is stupidly more than a T-Rex. Buuuuuuut a t-rex-sized beetle would absolutely collapse under it's own weight if you didn't use magic or, I dunno, steel reinforcement on the legs and joints.

Exactly. For purposes of the thread, I assume we are ignoring that the beetle, grown to T-Rex size, would collapse and be crushed under its own weight as its strength and durability don't grow in proportion and its body design, lifting thousands of times its weight, works at a weight measured in ounces.

But, since this is comic book growth, a beetle grown to T-Rex size would be like Superman going against a normal human.
