I don't think Magua was all that impressive. He got handled by Chingachgook, and Nathaniel would have destroyed him.

Grant overpowered Bond and easily killed everyone else he targeted in the film. Bond only beat him with the booby trap in the briefcase. Choreography wasn't exactly stunning, but it was a 1963 film made on a 2m budget.
