Klarion the Witchboy (you pick the version) versus Impossible Man (616), in the Khazan Arena.
No speed blitz coming from either side. Both characters are tough, so it won't be a quick draw either.
Klarion has a wide range of feats, including energy blasts, constructs, teleportation, transmutation, telekinesis, and mind control. He has at times been described as a Lord of Chaos, so he is likely at least as powerful as Doctor Fate and possibly more so. His cat Teekl is practically standard equipment, but only adds a lion-sized creature with some superhuman strength and durability.
Impossible Man also has a wide range of physical feats, as he is able to simulate both the appearance and powers/properties of objects, animals, machines, even superheroes. So he can fly, dish out energy blasts, wield superhuman strength and/or melee weapons, and demonstrate great resistance to both energy and physical attacks. Most importantly, Impossible Man has complete control of his molecular structure, so he can easily undo any attempts to transmute him. Impossible Man shrugged off the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak cast by Dr. Strange in Impossible Man Summer Vacation #1. Professor X tried to mind-scan Impossible Man in Uncanny X-Men Annual #7, but the feedback sent Charles into shock.
I think Impossible Man takes this, but it would be a wild and chaotic fight.
Impossible Man has also managed to sneak up On Heimdall, has no sold punches from the Hulk, no sold attacks from Molecule Man, managed to sneak up on the Silver Surfer and take the place of his Surf board without Surfer noticing.
He once turned himself into a fully funished 13 floor of a building that popped into place between the 12 and 14 floors without disrupting the building while still being on the ground floor himself.
I'm going to have to go with the Impossible Man.
What are Impossible Mans powers again I thought he was a shape changer but in the show he was a Reality Warper....
