Indeed… very “The Most Dangerous Game”… even if the artist makes the “victims” smiling.

Also, if the faces look adult, the huntress looks like a child with breasts with a doll on a shelf…

    Very strange.

Look at the subtitle of the comic--"The World Through Teenagers' eyes."

The cover shows a teenage girl and her "conquests" , three then-very popular, very famous matinee idols. And yes, mea culpa, the teen idol guys are objectified. I got sick of seeing all the covers that objectify women, I thought "Well if you can't beat 'em, join 'em..." lol

Anyway, remember the rule, folks: don't disparage the covers!

Oh, I never said it didn’t fit the subject…

    Oh, I know that.
But that's not what "disparage" means.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

I think I know which cover I'm going to vote for, but it will have to wait until morning.

Can't sleep, so time to vote.

    Nschornhorst and the Poweerpuff girls.

Time to vote! And I'm going for Shalla Bal. The cover doesn't actually creep me out when viewed metaphorically.

LordMikel for a cover I should have thought of but didn't.
