    Has Mystique ever actually beaten Creed in a straight up fight? I'm googling it, and it seems like he runs all over her if she hasn't got a surprise handy.

    This is Jobbertooth. Mystique can easily beat this Post-Chuck Austen version of him.

    If we're talking about OG X-Men Creed, then he shits all over Mystique.

    But he's the jobber for all pet characters now. Mystique has been a Villain Sue ever since Naked Rebecca played her on film.

    She gets a comeuppance even less than Stephanie McMahon now.

    So current canon says she can easily beat his ass. Along with every other named-character in Marvel. lol

    That's lame. I couldn’t read comics with Sabretooth in them back when I was a kid. He was ****ing scary. The happy birthday beatdowns he used to give Logan were legendary.

    I posted about Sabretooth's pathetic D-list villain status some years back where I used this page as 1 example, and I can't remember what comic it came from anymore.

    I know LaValle initially said something about this mini being the first part of a triptych, if that is still the case I really hope the follow up series does not have Sabretooth in it.

    The art in this miniseries is very good , I can't believe the art is much better than some of the regular X-titles.

    I hope to see the other 'newer mutants' that were introduced last issue.

    Too bad Marrow faced him when he was himself a pet character under Frank Tieri. All she could do was to flush him down a sewer to survive their encounter.
